Crowded Places is for less sophisticated People Photographers
lenzr photo contest producer web development TorontoThe crowded places photo contest is sponsored by a Toronto web developer that’s generously offering a Blackberry curve phone as prize. The prize offering fits nicely into their new mobile strategies and will allow users to keep track of their own social networks, which are crowded places.

The contest is pretty straightforward. Submit shots of crowds and use the caption to tell stories. The contest will no doubt create a long index of popular tourist attractions and pedestrian bottlenecks from all across Canada.

Both of these contests will end July 1st 2010 when the highest ranked photo is elected winner.

  1. Speaking of Baby boomers and the over fifty set,

When was the last time you hugged your Dad and gave him fifty pounds of chocolate?

Love your Dad? Despise him? Miss him? Want to reach out and say something in a public place to reward his greatness, give him a piece of your mind or set the record straight?

Have something to say but can’t because he is gone?

This month, we wonder if you might be interested in sharing a story on a special Daddy’s ‘n Daughters Father’s Day edition at HeadsUp Dad?

We are doing a “Letter to my Father” series where we are inviting people to submit short stories to HeadsUpDad in honor of their Dad on Father’s day.

The first article is up, and there are many more to come, but we would really like to hear from you. Check out what Kim Samuelsen (@FRANK) had to say in Gone Fishing, her Father’s Day tribute to her wonderful Dad…

Here’s your chance to have your say just in time for Father’s Day!
